The last few weeks haven’t been good to travellers flying through Europe. The airline industry and travellers alike have barely recovered from the Lufthansa pilot and Italian air traffic controller strikes, and now the Air France strike looms.
Air France pilot strike
Air France has announced that several pilot unions have called for strike action from September 15-22, 2014. Although the strike hasn’t been confirmed, Air France has urged travellers booked with them to think ahead.
Rebook your flight
If you’re going to be on a flight operated by Air France between September 15-22 2014, you can move your flight to September 23-30, 2014 at no additional cost. You can rebook through your travel agent or by modifying your reservation on the Air France website.
If you move your flight past September 30, 2014, you’ll receive a non-refundable voucher valid for one year for Air France or KLM. You will need to contact your travel agent to do this.
