Hurricane Odile slammed into Mexico’s Baja Peninsula on September 14, 2014 leaving tourists and locals injured and taking shelter in damaged homes and hotels. Although Hurricane Odile is expected to weaken in the next 48 hours, forecasters are warning of storm surges, landslides and flash floods.

Ebola Travel Advisory – Update
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada maintains its ebola travel advisory. It advises travellers to avoid non-essential travel to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. To date, the number of cases in West Africa’s ebola outbreak is 2,240 according to the World Health Organization.
