Wow! Celebrating 50 Years

Today, we’re celebrating big – we turned 50! And yes, we’re a bit nostalgic…
Hitting the big five-o is a huge feat for a company that began with just two employees, Herb and Georgina Robinson.

Herb’s family had a history in insurance and both were working in the travel industry at Pacific Western Airlines. In the company’s infancy, Georgina ran the day-to-day operations of TuGo, while Herb focused on his own insurance brokerage.
Five decades later, TU has grown to over 170 employees across Canada!

But what also lies behind this mature company is a team that really cares about its customers. We’re all about people and helping them have better experiences… because we’re travellers too.
