Save on Travel Insurance When Travelling Outside the USA

I’m in the midst of planning for a month-long South American adventure, and one of the things I want to check off my list is travel insurance (good thing I work for a travel insurance company!).
I was surprised to learn that we offer a non-USA Single Trip Travel Insurance option and it’s more affordable than Worldwide Emergency Medical.
Why is this type of plan more affordable? Don’t worry! It’s simply because of the high costs of the US healthcare system.
So, if you’re taking a trip outside of the USA like me, but may be travelling through, or stopping over, there is no reason to buy USA coverage—provided you don’t exceed 5 days in transit.
