The US Government Shutdown–How Does It Affect Your Travel Plans?

The US Federal Government has temporarily shut down. What does this mean for you and your travel plans?
All national parks, museums, and monuments will be closed until further notice, so you’ll have to put your visits on pause.
In transit? Fret not, because border crossings, airports, and  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services should not be disrupted by the shutdown.
