We all have bucket list destinations, and chances are, Paris, France is one of the cities on your list! Whenever I travel, time is always of the essence, and having a straightforward itinerary to know what to do and where is a must. If you’re interested in learning about five of my top Instagram-worthy spots to visit in Paris, read on!
Now that I’ve been to the ”City of Love” a handful of times, I have a few go-to spots I love to visit, and they’re definitely worth the hype. There are so many choices when it comes to how you spend your time in Paris, so this list can help you narrow down your top “must see” spots while you’re there.
1. Coffee at Café Kitsuné

What’s a visit to Paris without visiting a chic coffee shop? Located in Palais Royal, Café Kitsuné is a small cafe nestled within Jardin du Palais-Royal, a beautiful garden lined with trees, benches and plenty of seating. Once you’ve finished your morning treat, continue walking along the garden path, and you’ll find yourself at Palais Royal, the courtyard with famous black-and-white striped pedestals, where you’re sure to get ‘the perfect shot.’
2. A picnic at Sacré-Coeur

While a picnic at the Eiffel Tower is more expected, I suggest taking your charcuterie snacks elsewhere for a breathtaking view of the city. Hike up the steps of the Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre, and you’ve got yourself a view you can’t beat. Once you find a spot on the grass with the famous church behind you, you’re welcomed with an unbelievable view overlooking all of Paris–a memory you’re sure to cherish forever.
3. Lunch at L’Avenue
If an Instagram-worthy lunch is on your to do list, one spot you must check out is L’Avenue. Located along Champs Élysées, L’Avenue’s menu features authentic French cuisine—beef tartar, protein-packed salads, escargot, and more. On top of having plenty of aesthetically pleasing meals to choose from, the quality of the food is also noteworthy! What’s more, Champs Élysées is within walking distance, perfect for some well-deserved shopping after your meal.
4. Shopping at Merci

To continue the shopping journey, nestled with the quaint streets of Le Marais is Merci—a beautiful fashion and design boutique featuring 3-stories and a glass roof. Not only is the storefront picturesque, but the inside doesn’t disappoint either! If you’re hunting for gifts for your loved ones or new pieces for your closet, this is the spot for you.
5. Dinner at Le Relais de l’Entrecôte

Yes, you may have to line up for your dinner, as le Relais de l’Entrecôte doesn’t take reservations, but don’t let that stop you! If you’re looking for an affordable, classic French meal that’s bound to keep you full, I highly recommend having a meal here. Their simple one-item menu keeps decisions at bay, as everyone is served the same thing: steak frites!
Served with their signature crispy French fries and green sauce, this is by far my favourite meal in Paris, especially as the waiters continue to replenish your plate as you eat.
PS: don’t forget to save room for dessert!
Tip: My favourite le Relais de l’Entrecôte location to visit is near the Eiffel Tower, so you can walk over to the Seine River after dinner to capture photos of the tower as she twinkles in the moonlight. Absolutely breathtaking!
Whether you’re looking to admire the scenery, shop ‘till you drop, or eat a decadent Parisian meal, the city has something in store for everyone. Next time you visit Paris, try adding a few of these stops to your itinerary, and let us know your favourite spots!
Happy travels,
Linnea
