What do you miss most about travel?
When we asked travellers what they missed most about travel, here’s what they had to say:
Sara: “Being on a warm beach somewhere with a nice cold drink.”
Jessica: “Just that initial kind of shock when you arrive somewhere new. It’s a little bit scary and maybe a little bit exciting at the same time.”
Elizabeth: “Exploring new cities from tourist hotspots to hidden gems.”
Eddie: “I miss getting lost.”
Why do you think travel is important?
When travellers were asked why they thought travel was important, they all gave insightful answers:
Yuzo: “Travel is important because it allows us to learn more about people and cultures.”
Sara: “We learn about different ways of living.”
Siobhan: Travel gets “you out of your comfort zone, introducing you to new cultures and new languages.”
Mark: “Travel puts life in perspective.”
Jessica: It makes the world “feel like a smaller and more familiar place.”
What’s next on your bucket list?
When we asked about their bucket list destinations, here’s what travellers listed off:
Jessica: “I think it would be really neat to see someplace like the salt flats in Bolivia.”
Siobhan: “Home to Cork (Ireland), without a doubt.”
Eddie: “Nepal and Costa Rica.”
Yuzo: “We’d love to do Italy and Spain.”
