Travel Health Notice: Measles

The Government of Canada recently issued a travel health notice for measles. Major parts of Africa and Europe have experienced outbreaks, but Canada has also had its fair share. If you’re planning on travelling soon, make sure you get immunized first.

Where is measles a concern?
1)     Brazil – With the FIFA World Cup coming up, there’s no doubt there will be even more outbreaks. Get immunized before you fly out.
2)     Philippines
3)     Japan
4)     The United States – There have been outbreaks from imported cases, so protect yourself before you cross the border.
5)     Australia
6)     United Kingdom
