Effective immediately, the Government of Canada will stop issuing visas to people who have been in an ebola-affected country.
Ebola Travel Advisory – Update
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada maintains its ebola travel advisory. It advises travellers to avoid non-essential travel to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. To date, the number of cases in West Africa’s ebola outbreak is 2,240 according to the World Health Organization.
